Day 3

Some pics of the jungle outside our apartment window (complete with bamboo scaffolding in the next door apartment).

Macao
First stop - Fernando's - for some famous portuguese food, wine and of course 'Port'.
Dan - we were thinking of you as we ate the prawns!!! Just like the ones we had on the BBQ at Christmas:)

Simon sampled his first Portuguese beer, while Val enjoyed a nice glass of Portuguese red (out of a tumbler)!!

Next stop - The Venetian casino and resort on the Cotai Strip. Just like Venice... complete with the Grand Canal, Gondolas and singing Venetians.
As it was the first day of the Chinese New Year - the little kiddies were all dressed up in their special outfits - soo cute!! We even got to see a Lion's Dance to bless the casino for the new year...

Then we headed into the Old Town to admire the old Portuguese buildings and the ruins of St Pauls' Cathedral.

We even managed a stop in at the Wynn casino for a squiz and a cuppa, time to rest our weary legs!!
Some pics of Macau's first and most famous casino - the Lisboa!! Viva las vegas
It was getting pretty cold...

Time to jump back on the ferry to head home. A pic from the ferry window - IFC tower in Hong Kong.
