I am happy to report that my trial (arbitration hearing, actually) finished yesterday and whilst I still have a pile of stuff to complete in a relatively short time frame - life can resume to normalcy... well, for a few days at least...Next Tuesday our fabulous friends Deanne & Larry are coming to stay, then my sister arrives on Thursday (2 yah's in 1 week!), then we have the Rugby Sevens, and the week after my other sister arrives for Easter. Goodness me I am tired just thinking about it.
We are soooo looking forward to spending time with friends and family, and taking a few days off here and there to play tour guide. Don't you love doing that - I always enjoy playing tourist in my own city, discovering new things and seeing the mundane through new intrigued eyes.
Before then I have to find a chunk of motivation to get through the tasks on hand, to focus on work and not play, and to stop dreaming about being anywhere but where I am. What I would give to be sitting in the garden pictured above right now, feeling the sun on my back, without a care in the world.
Oh well, another day perhaps!
